Serendipity

As we were driving around Sacramento last week, we stumbled upon the most beautiful park. It's called Capitol Park and is adjacent to the Capitol Building where our Govenator does his thing. It is full of trees from around the world, roses, and several monuments.

It was a great day!

Was that the traveling memorial they have from the Vietnam War?? Something different?

Love the rose and palm tree in the background! Ha! That’s great...

We had some decent weather today, cold... but the sun made peek-a-boo appearances....

I love history type places.... makes learning fun to actually see and touch!

Wow. With those pics, your husband should be like, a photographer, or filmmaker or something.

And you did a great job making some cute kids!

Welcome to the Sacramento area. Those are some great pictures. If you get a chance you should hit up some of the trails along the American River and maybe vitst the Nimbus Fish Hatchery while the salmon are supposed to be running. They've got some fun stuff for the kids.
