Compassion and Giving

I just had to share what my girlfriend's four year old daughter did.. This is from my friend, Kara's blog...

Several months ago, Leah and I had a conversation about her cousin, Anna, who was growing her hair long enough to give to a little girl that does not have hair because she was sick. After numerous conversations clarifying for Leah that she was not sick and she will still have hair, she said she wanted to do it, too, just like Anna.

However, it needed a few more months of growth to be long enough for the required 10" minimum for Locks of Love. Finally, the day has come. With no car and one Salon within walking distance, we hiked to Prestige on Main Street. Here are the photos to record her generous heart:

Doesn't it look great? She loves it. She's been flipping it around all afternoon. But really, when you're starting with such beauty (yes, I admit I am biased), does the hair matter at all?
